Protecting your privacy when using our website is important to us.
This Privacy Policy is part of and works with our Terms & Conditions. All defined terms not specifically defined herein shall have the definition as described in our Terms & Conditions.
This Privacy Policy describes how your personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, email, and credit card and other financial account information (“Personal Information”), is collected, used, and shared when you visit, make a purchase from or use the Services offered on www.rootcausehypno.love (the “Site”). The Site is owned and operated by Root Cause Brands LLC, (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
Root Cause Hypnotherapy is committed to treating the Personal Information shared with us by our Site Users and Clients with care and respect.
California Residents: our privacy practices comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) of 2018 and as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) of 2020. Refer to Section 6 below for additional information.
Your use of the Site and by providing Personal Information to us through any means, including, but not limited to, via email, telephone or in person, and by engaging in the use of our Services, you are expressing your unqualified acceptance and consent to policies and procedures as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
GENERAL
Your access to and use of the Site, and your continued access to and use of the Site, make you a Site User. If you procure Services (as that term is defined in the Terms & Conditions) from us, you are a Root Cause Hypnotherapy Client. In both instances, whether you are only a Site User or both a Site User and a Client (in both instances sometimes alternatively and collectively referred to herein as “you” and “your”), this Privacy Policy sets forth how your Personal Information is collected, used and shared by the Company.
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or service offerings that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

– “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
– “Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, and when you engage in our Services, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers and other financial related information), social security number, email address, and phone number. As related to the Services, in order to provide you with the Services we may also collect information related to health and physical well-being, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, educational background, employment history and inferences (such as preferences, abilities, traits, characteristics and predispositions) drawn from such information. We refer to this information collectively as “Order and Services Information”.
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order and Services Information.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order and Services Information that you give to us generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for scheduling of Services, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order and Services Information to:
Provide the Services to you that you request from us and engage in Sessions with you;
Communicate with you about our Services, our products, and to keep you informed about and to conduct Sessions you schedule with us;
To notify you of changes to our Services, Terms & Conditions or Privacy Policy;
To comply with applicable laws and regulations;
For training purposes, quality assurance and to record portions of the Services that are provided to you;
Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud and make inquiries about you for credit reference purposes; and
When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve, optimize, test and troubleshoot our Site and for internal operations, including testing, research, statistical and survey analyses (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, to provide targeted advertising and marketing services, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Root Cause Hypnotherapy does not sell your Personal Information to third parties. To provide the best experience for Site Users and Client we share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, we use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site — you can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. You agree that by using the Site and Services you confirm that we have the right to share your Personal Information for the purposes stated herein, including, but not limited to, for business purposes related to sales, advertising and marketing, cloud storage services, website analytics and contractual performance.
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
GOOGLE API SERVICES USER DATA POLICY DISCLOSURE
Root Cause Hypnotherapy use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use your Google Calendar data:
Accessing Calendar List: We use the calendar.calendarlist.readonly scope to allow specialists to select which of their Google calendars they wish to sync with Root Cause Hypnotherapy.
Reading Events: We use the calendar.events.readonly scope to identify busy time slots in the specialist’s personal calendar. This information is used solely to block corresponding time slots in the Root Cause Hypnotherapy scheduling system to prevent double-booking.
Creating Events: We use the calendar.app.created scope to create and manage a dedicated “Root Cause Hypnotherapy” calendar within the user’s Google account, where we sync appointments booked through our platform.
Data Privacy for Google Users:
We do not share your Google user data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
We do not use your Google Calendar data to build user profiles or for any purpose other than providing and improving the scheduling functionality of the Root Cause Hypnotherapy platform.
Users can revoke access at any time via the “Disconnect” button in their profile or through their Google Security settings. Upon disconnection, all synced Google data is removed from our platform.

WHAT IF I DO NOT WANT MY PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION COLLECTED, DISCLOSED OR USED?

EMAIL OPT-OUT
We want to communicate with you via email correspondence only if you want to hear from us. If for any reason you would no longer like to receive email messages from Root Cause Hypnotherapy, you can unsubscribe by clicking the link provided in the email message or email us at carrie@rootcausehypno.love to remove yourself. Please allow up to 10 days for us to process your request.
Please note, if you opt not to receive marketing emails from Root Cause Hypnotherapy, you may still receive “Transactional” email messages regarding orders you place on the Site (i.e. order confirmation, customer service notifications, etc.).
TEXT MESSAGE OPT-OUT
TO STOP RECEIVING MOBILE ALERTS & PROMOTIONAL TEXT MESSAGES from Root Cause Hypnotherapy, simply text “STOP” in response to any text message you receive from us. Your number will be removed from our subscription list.
By voluntarily providing your phone number to us in response to a marketing communication, and by replying “Yes” to opt in and confirm your consent to receive marketing text messages from Root Cause Hypnotherapy you are giving us your express permission to send you text messages with promotional information about our Services, up to 8 messages per month. You may reply “STOP” in response to any text you receive from us to cancel future text messages. Reply HELP for terms. Message and data rates may apply.
DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, interact with the Site, or submit information to us through the Site, we will maintain your Personal Information to provide the Services to you and for our records for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the Personal Information was collected unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
CHANGES
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. It is your responsibility to periodically check the Privacy Policy for changes and before you provide personally identifiable information as your continued use of the Site following the posting of any changes shall constitute your acceptance of those changes. If after reviewing the changes to the Privacy Policy you do not agree to be bound by said changes, do not continue to the use the Site.
CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
Root Cause Hypnotherapy is always interested in hearing from our customers and welcomes your feedback regarding our Services. If you choose to send your feedback to us either directly or through a third-party online review platform we want to let you know that we may post your feedback, comments, suggestions, or other material, on our website, in our social media posts and in marketing material. Moreover, we also reserve the right to remove (or not post) any feedback we receive if the submitted content is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy, obscene, fraudulent or otherwise deemed to be, in the sole discretion of Root Cause Hypnotherapy, objectionable. By posting or sending us any submission, you grant Root Cause Hypnotherapy a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual and fully sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, publish, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such submission throughout the world in any media. You also grant Root Cause Hypnotherapy the right to use the name you submit in connection with such submission. By posting or sending us a submission, you represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content in your submission, that the content you provide is true and accurate, and that use of the content in your submission does not violate this policy and will not cause injury to Root Cause Hypnotherapy or any other person or entity. You agree to indemnify Root Cause Hypnotherapy against all claims and liabilities resulting from your submission. Root Cause Hypnotherapy does not take any responsibility and assumes no liability for any submission posted by you or any other person or entity.
By submitting your feedback (referred to as “Testimonial” in this sentence and in the following statement) to us, and/or by responding in the affirmative to a request by us to use your Testimonial for marketing purposes, you are affirmatively agreeing to the following statement:
I agree that the Testimonial I posted may be used by Root Cause Hypnotherapy.com in accordance with its Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. I give Root Cause Hypnotherapy my permission to use all text, images, and video related to the Testimonial (collectively the “Testimonial”) and I acknowledge and understand that the Testimonial will be used for marketing, promotional and advertising purposes, and I hereby, without limitations grant a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty free, license to and authorize Root Cause Hypnotherapy and its employees, contractors, partners and other representatives to use the Testimonial in marketing, promotional and advertising efforts, including, but not limited to, on https://rootcausehypno.love, in social media posts and in online advertising. I waive any claim to inspect, edit or approve the use of the Testimonial or the material in which it is used. I also waive any claim to limit the license I have granted herein via copyright to the Testimonial or and waive any claim to copyright to the materials where the Testimonial appears. I waive any claim to financial compensation or gain from using the Testimonial.
